Thread and Tinsel | Fly tying
Thread and Tinsels are used to tie and color flies, among the many yarns there are the standard thread, designed to be thin and resistant at the same time, of cotton base, they are more specific for the construction and therefore to block fly tying materials to the hook.
Floss yarns are normally used to color flies' bodies, softer and thicker than standard yarns, they will help and simplify this work, the finer measures of this thread can also be used as a mounting thread.
For the construction of the bodies of the submerged flies and of the streamer the mohair threads are also very valid, a very coarse wool that with a few turns of winder will create the body of the fly.
