Pupa Pink is a small sedge pupa.

This simple wet fly, which I am presenting in fly fishing clubs, where I have been doing construction evenings for a couple of years now, is very simple to build but at the same time very captivating. Dressing is "copied" by the very famous Davie McPail, I saw for the first time in 2013 to make a beautiful sedge pupa that I think many thousands of fly fishermen know by now, and I was amazed by its beauty. At that point, all I had to do was copy it! The work, however, was more laborious, challenging and not gratifying in terms of time, a fishing flies I couldn't build in 20 minutes !! So at that point I had decided to use only one step of the many he was doing, the overturning of the fibers to create the legs. It was the month of September and it was also the perfect time probably to try this wet fly. I immediately realized the potential that it had, in a short time the catches were not missing fishing drifting in medium-slow waters. I then tested it properly in October of that year by going fishing on the San River, this submerged fly was a winner with trout and grayling, giving emotions to no end .. What can I say, a wet fly to use absolutely!

Here below you can find the fly tying video, the complete dressing of the used materials and if you want to buy it you can find Pupa pink in our online fishing shop.
