Use Coq de leon feathers is not very difficult,
they are mainly used in Italy for the construction of artificial flies tails,
especially in the construction of nymphs and perdigones.
However the coq de leon feather is very interesting when we also build the wings of the dry flies.
You can use it as in the video to create the wings of an ephemeral,
we can mount a tuft to create a flat wing of a sedge
or even put it into a buttonhole to go for a fly parachute.
